Thomas R. Rodden, Esq.
Thomas R. (“Tom”) Rodden is a lifelong resident of Maryland, originally raised in
Bethesda, and he has served in managerial capacity in a variety of settlement / title offices, primarily in the Silver Spring – Burtonsville areas. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Frostburg State University and earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore School of Law.
As a Maryland attorney and licensed title agent, Tom has enjoyed a reputation in the real estate community for providing trustworthy and dependable settlement services. Working in the title industry since 1988, he has successfully closed thousands of real estate sales and refinance transactions in Maryland. Tom worked early in his career as the managing attorney for the Ridgway & Griffin / Universal Title offices in Silver Spring and Burtonsville, Maryland. Since 2004, Tom has owned and managed his own title company, Apex Settlement Services, LLC, a Licensee of RGS Title, on Prosperity Drive in Silver Spring.
Over the course of his career, Tom has been called upon to teach continuing education (CE) courses, both through GCAAR (Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors) and the Long & Foster Institute. He taught numerous classes which mostly focused on contracts, settlement procedures, and the Code of Ethics & Predatory Lending.
Tom is proud to serve Realtors© and their clients by providing excellent customer
service for their real estate and title needs. He has a great reputation in the real estate industry for maintaining long-time devoted staff members who go to great lengths to ensure smooth and timely closings, even in times of great stress for the agents and clients. Keeping it cool under times of fire is a hallmark of the offices Tom has managed over past 37 years.
