Pat, a legal veteran of over 38 years, has focused his career on representing commercial and residential owners, investors, lenders, and brokers in a wide range of transactions, many of them complex in nature. Pat’s practice focuses on representation of commercial banks and other lenders, negotiating and documenting new loans, modification and restructuring of existing loans, workouts and foreclosures; representation of builders, developers and real estate investors, including contract negotiations, title examinations, organization of corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies, structuring and closing of complex commercial transactions; administrative appeals and hearings; representation of various property owners with respect to appeal of property tax assessments on shopping centers, apartment complexes, residential subdivisions, cooperative residential projects and other residential and commercial property; general commercial representation of small businesses and individuals; residential and commercial closings, including purchases and refinances. Pat graduated with honors from the University of Maryland Law School and is a member of the Maryland Bar and the District of Columbia Bar.
